Open Works is baltimore’s largest nonprofit makerspace, with 34,000 S.F. of workshops, micro-studio space, classrooms, and a coffee shop. Our mission is to make tools, technology, and the knowledge to use them accessible to all. We accomplish that mission through low-cost access to tools, inexpensive starter studio space, and a wide variety of classes for young people and adults. We have a full wood shop, metal shop, 3 full-size CNC machines, 3 laser cutters, a 3D printing lab, electronics shop, textiles studio, and digital media space. Full tool list available at www.openworksbmore.com Come check out our space and community with a free membership tour every Saturday morning at 11 or every Thursday evening at 6.
