Interns receive a competitive stipend of $1,800
General Description
Made In Baltimore is looking for a Web Design Intern! Use your creative web design skills to help support MIB and the shop local movement. This internship role will involve maintenance of the current WordPress website, analysis of the websites Google Analytics, and implementing creative ideas to revamp the WordPress website. The role also includes maintenance, analysis, and redesign of Made In Baltimore’s e-commerce Shopify website. Our goal is to ensure our sites are engaging, user-friendly, shoppable, and communicate our mission. This is an internship position from June – August and is limited to 8hr/week.
Key Qualifications
– Experience with Shopify and WordPress is a must
– Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills
– Strong graphic design skills
– Website sample required
– Knowledge of the Baltimore maker scene a plus
