For this workshop we are joined by Linda Hutchison of Hutchison Law, LLC to discuss the importance of intellectual property, how crucial it is to the development of your business and how to develop a strong, enforceable trademark.

Linda S. Hutchison is a Member at Hutchison Law, LLC, where she focuses her practice on intellectual property law. Linda helps clients navigate the trademark registration process, copyright registration process, as well as the patent process. Prior to working as an attorney, Linda worked as a management consultant and manufacturing engineer. Linda draws from her management consulting and business experience to help clients select and acquire intellectual property rights to support business strategies. Linda is also a Senior Adjunct Instructor at Howard Community College, where she teaches Business Law and Introduction to Business and Organizations. Linda graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She earned a Master of Arts in Administrative Management- Public Administration from the University of Maryland University College. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.
